Data collected and purpose
Through this site's contact form we collect your name, email address, and the content of your message. This data is used solely to respond to your request and evaluate a possible professional collaboration. It is not used for marketing purposes and is not shared with third parties for commercial purposes.
Legal basis
Processing is based on the consent given by voluntarily submitting the form (GDPR art. 6.1.a) and, where applicable, on pre-contractual measures requested by the data subject (GDPR art. 6.1.b).
Data retention
Data collected through the contact form is kept for as long as needed to handle the request. If no follow-up occurs, it is deleted within 12 months of the last contact. If a collaboration begins, retention follows the applicable contractual and tax obligations.
Recipients and data transfers
The contact form is technically handled via Netlify, Inc., which acts as data processor for sending and managing messages. Netlify is based in the United States: any transfer of data outside the EU is subject to the safeguards required by the GDPR (standard contractual clauses). No other third party receives data collected through the form.
Booking an appointment
If you book a call via the Google Calendar link on this site, the information you enter in the booking form (name, email, any notes) is collected and processed directly by Google LLC, under Google's own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). I only access this data through the confirmed calendar appointment — the site itself never receives or stores it.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site does not use tracking, profiling, or marketing cookies. The only data saved locally is the light/dark theme preference, stored in your browser's localStorage exclusively on your own device — this does not require consent. See the Cookie Policy for details.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction on the processing of your data, object to processing, or request data portability at any time by writing to hello@piercarloserena.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it).
